Aurora Danae, You are sensational!
Simply put - it's been a fantastic journey mothering my second daughter. She is softer, quieter... yet inquisitive and brilliant. I absolutely adore my little Rory and I cannot believe she's FOUR!
In our home, we have a tradition of allow our children to decorate their birthday cake on the actual day they were born. No one gets to help them and there is no limit to the amount of decor they add to their cake. We usually don't have any sort of gifts or party on the actual date, that comes later, but this tradition is one that our children look forward to every year! This year is no different - cake decorating was a hit.

This is serious work with intense concentration!
In case the cake itself and the frosting were not enough sugar - the finished product added another layer of diabetic coma!
But, it's all worth it - Our lovely beautiful daughter Aurora was THRILLED with her creation!
What birthday would be complete without a wish?
